Dr. Purva Nimkar, born in Nagpur, India’s tiger capital, cultivated a passion for wildlife through family nature trails and safaris. A graduate of Nagpur Veterinary College (BVSc & AH), she began her journey as a wildlife veterinarian, addressing abandoned exotic animal cases due to inadequate awareness. This inspired her to specialize in exotic animal care, blending expertise in wildlife and exotic species. Beyond work, she enjoys traveling, wildlife photography, and painting.
